Frequently asked questions
Is OneStatus really private?
Yes. Profiles are never shown on any public page and are not searchable. Only the matching team can view your details, and only with your awareness.
Do I have to reveal my real name?
No. A pseudonym is perfectly welcome. Share exactly what you're comfortable sharing.
Do I have to disclose my status?
This is a community for people living with HIV, so a shared understanding exists from the start. Exactly how much you share about your personal journey is your choice.
Is it free?
Joining is free. Matchmaking is handled with care by our team.
How do matches work?
Our matchmakers review profiles privately and make thoughtful introductions, always with your consent before any contact is made.
What does U=U mean?
Undetectable = Untransmittable. With effective treatment and an undetectable viral load, HIV cannot be transmitted sexually. It means you can love with confidence.
